Why This Work Is Personal
Glenn Smith-Perrot’s path to this work began long before his career did. He grew up in foster care, spent time in a group home, and went on to earn his college and graduate degrees. That journey shaped how he thinks about access, belonging, and the support people need when they are trying to find their way.
Through Smith-Perrot Education Services, Glenn brings that lived experience together with nearly a decade of work across higher education, mentorship, alumni engagement, student success, and community-based access.
At the heart of the work is a simple belief: people should not have to figure everything out alone.
